Mountain View Whisman School District Board of Trustees
The Mountain View Whisman School District's Board of Trustees functions as the legislative body of the district and establishes the vision, goals and policies by which the school district is operated. Residents of the District are eligible to run for election to overlapping four-year terms. Trustees are elected by the registered voters of the district.

You are invited to attend Board meetings and take an active role in the educational affairs of the Mountain View Whisman School District. The Board appreciates your interest and participation.
Regular meetings are held on the first and third Thursdays of most months. Meetings generally begin at 7:00 p.m. at the District Office, 750-A San Pierre Way, Mountain View.
The Board must call, announce, agendize and conduct their meetings according to the regulations prescribed by the Ralph M. Brown Act. For more information on the Brown Act visit the League of California Cities web page.

The Governing Board of the Mountain View Whisman School District has formally adopted the California School Boards Association (CSBA) Professional Governance Standards.
