Adult Meal Policy and Procedure

Nutrition Services is pleased to offer meals to staff this school year. Staff can come through the line to purchase breakfast and/or lunch. Please note, our top priority is to feed our students. We ask that all staff keep this in mind as they go through the breakfast and lunch lines. Please try to come at a time when students lines are minimal, unless you are a teacher or classroom aid. If you do come at a time when students are present, we ask our staff to wait in line with students.

We are pleased to offer whole grains, lean protein, fresh fruit and vegetables, and vegetarian options daily. You can find our monthly menus on the Mountain View Whisman School District web page, (Parents// Menus) and printed copies are posted in our cafeterias. Our breakfast comes with an entree, 1 - 2 pieces of fruit, and a milk. Our lunches come with an entree, milk, and fruits and vegetables. Staff is not required to take all meal components; however, we do not offer any meal components a la carte.

Breakfast is available for $4.50 and lunch for $6.50.

How to purchase meals:

●      To purchase a meal, the District Office front desk has meal tickets available.

Cash or checks can be used; however, Credit Card purchase is available, using My School Bucks.

●      You can open an account with My School Bucks.com. Please print out a receipt to show your purchase.

●      Tickets are given to the cashier at meal service.

●      CNS does not accept cash or checks in the meal service lines.
